So, you have decided to start on a raw food list. It can often be difficult to know where to start, or what to buy. Below is a raw food list you can take to the grocery store with you, so that you can get some ideas on what to buy.

Fruits and vegetables: Avocados, fresh herbs, apples, seasonal fruits, bananas, onions, broccoli, lemons, celery, leafy green vegetables, carrots, ginger, cabbage, garlic, cucumber, grapefruit, coconuts, green beans.

Seeds and nuts: Pine nuts, raw almonds, flax seeds, organic almond butter, hemp seeds.

Meat/Fish: Cold smoked salmon.

Snacks: Granola bars, raw nuts, dried fruit, baby carrots.

Condiments: Stone ground mustard, raw pesto, raw salsa, olives, raw black olives, dried tomatoes, apple cider vinegar.

Oils: Extra virgin coconut oil, cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed sesame oil.

Spices: curry, organic herbs, Himalayan salt.

Sweeteners: Organic maple syrup, raw organic honey, liquid Stevia, raw agave nectar.

Pasta and Grains: Buckwheat, wild rice, Quinoa.

Bread: Sprouted bread, sprouted tortilla’s, sprouted bagels.

Superfoods: Green powder, Goji berries, raw carob powder, Maca, raw nori sheets, Acai berry.

In addition to food, there are other products you normally buy at the supermarket. Here are some that you can purchase that are raw diet friendly.

Personal Care: Organic shaving cream, Weleda toothpaste, Burt’s Bees deodorant, shampoo and conditioner.

Take this list of raw food list with you when you go grocery shopping and purchase as many of the items as you can find. This is not an all-inclusive list of raw foods, but it will give you an idea of what you should be looking for. Your first grocery shopping trip with this list is your first step to having a healthier life, and a much more nutritious diet compared to cooking foods, which kills many of the nutrients.
