It can often be difficult to know where to start, or what to buy. Below is a raw food list you can take to the grocery store with you, so that you can get some ideas on what to buy.</p>
<p><strong>Fruits and vegetables:</strong> Avocados, fresh herbs, apples, seasonal fruits, bananas, onions, broccoli, lemons, celery, leafy green vegetables, carrots, ginger, cabbage, garlic, cucumber, grapefruit, coconuts, green beans.<br />

<strong>Seeds and nuts:</strong> Pine nuts, raw almonds, flax seeds, organic almond butter, hemp seeds.</p>
<p><strong>Meat/Fish: </strong>Cold smoked salmon.</p>
<p><strong>Snacks:</strong> Granola bars, raw nuts, dried fruit, baby carrots.</p>
<p><strong>Condiments:</strong> Stone ground mustard, raw pesto, raw salsa, olives, raw black olives, dried tomatoes, apple cider vinegar.</p>
<p><strong>Oils: </strong>Extra virgin coconut oil, cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, cold pressed sesame oil.</p>
<p><strong>Spices:</strong> curry, organic herbs, Himalayan salt.</p>
<p><strong>Sweeteners:</strong> Organic maple syrup, raw organic honey, liquid Stevia, raw agave nectar.</p>
<p><strong>Pasta and Grains:</strong> Buckwheat, wild rice, Quinoa.</p>
<p><strong>Bread: </strong>Sprouted bread, sprouted tortilla’s, sprouted bagels.</p>
<p><strong>Superfoods: </strong>Green powder, Goji berries, raw carob powder, Maca, raw nori sheets, Acai berry.</p>
<p>In addition to food, there are other products you normally buy at the supermarket. Here are some that you can purchase that are raw diet friendly.</p>

<p><strong>Tip 1:</strong> Eat one salad every day. Most people only consume around two or three servings of fruits and vegetables each day, but the recommended number is between five and ten. We are not eating nearly as much “greens” as we should be.<br />

<strong>Tip 2:</strong> Make your diet at least eighty percent raw foods. Humans are the only living things on the planet that feel the need to cook their food. You are robbing your body of valuable nutrients by cooking your food! Eating it raw is much healthier, and better for your digestive system.</p>
<p><strong>Tip 3:</strong> Most people are eating way more food than their bodies need. Try to eat every two or three hours, but only eat if you are actually hungry. If you eat when you aren’t hungry, then there is no point in eating and you will only end up gaining weight.<br />

Tip 4:</strong> You should only consume meat approximately twice per week. It isn’t necessary for your survival, and will only cause harm to your body if you eat too much of it. It causes acid and inflammation in the body, and nobody wants that.</p>
